License and Accreditation
St. Peter Preschool is fully licensed by the State of Ohio. In-service and supervision is provided by the Office of Catholic Education of the Cleveland Diocese. A child must be four years old by September 30th to be accepted into the three or five day preschool, and three years old by June 1st for the two day preschool program.
Administration and Teaching Staff
ADMINISTRATOR: St. Peter Preschool is administered by the Principal of St. Peter School.
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: St. Peter Preschool is coordinated by the on-site Assistant Director.
TEACHING STAFF: The preschool teachers plan and guide the learning time during the day. They are assisted by aides to allow each child sufficient supervision and quality attention.
Curriculum
The curriculum follows the Preschool Guide of the Diocese of Cleveland. The program promotes the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, physical, and social growth of young children. Multi-sensory activities that enhance the total development of the child are planned in a sequential manner that follow a theme or unit. Components include religion readiness, language development, math readiness, motor skill development, personal-social guidance, art, music, and play.
Parent Involvement
Parents are encouraged to keep in direct contact with the Preschool Staff and be present for all parent activities.
Calendar
St. Peter Preschool will follow the St. Peter School calendar as closely as possible. When Lorain City schools close or delay due to inclement weather, St. Peter Preschool and Child Care will also be closed.

Registration Fee: $25.00 (non-refundable)
5 Day All Day Preschool

Tuition: $334.00 per month $3006 per year
Instructional Fee: $70.00
5 Day Morning Preschool
(Must be 4 by September 30th)
Hours: 8:30 to 11:00 AM
Tuition: $177.00 per month $1593.00 per year
Instructional Fee: $60.00
3 Day Preschool (Wed., Thur., Fri.)
(Must be 4 by September 30th)
Hours: 8:30 to 11:00 AM or 12:00 to 2:30 PM
Tuition: $105.00 per month $945 per year
Instructional Fee: $50.00
2 Day Preschool (Mon., Tue.)
(Must be 3 by June 1st)
Hours: 9:00 to 11:00 AM or 12:30 to 2:30 PM
Tuition: $80.00 per month $720.00 per year
Instructional Fee: $40.00
Preschool tuition must be paid by the 30th of each month beginning with an August 30th payment. All payments must be complete by April 30th.
Child Care
Morning drop-off is available as early as 7:30 AM.
Extended Care is available after all classes. The Child Care fee is $4.00 per hour.
